Using Essetly
These terms explain how Essetly can be used, what users control, and where professional advice is still needed.

By accessing or using Essetly, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Essetly is an organisation and access tool for life's essential information, including documents, insurance details, assets, liabilities, reminders, contacts and family access.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Essetly. You are responsible for making sure your use of Essetly complies with laws that apply to you.
4. Account Responsibilities
You should take reasonable steps to keep your account credentials secure and notify Essetly if you suspect unauthorised access. Essetly operates the service, applies its security controls and handles personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
You agree to:

- Not misuse the service

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

6. No Professional Advice
Essetly helps organise information and access. It does not provide legal, financial, accounting, tax, insurance or estate planning advice. You should speak with qualified professionals before making decisions that require professional advice.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload or add to Essetly. You give Essetly permission to process that content as needed to provide the service, including organising records, showing reminders, supporting sharing and suggesting updates for your review.
8. Service Availability
Essetly may change, pause or discontinue parts of the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Essetly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Account Closure and Deletion
You may stop using Essetly or request account deletion by contacting us. We will process deletion requests in line with our legal, security and operational obligations. Some limited records may need to be retained where required for legal, security or operational reasons.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes where practical. Continued use of Essetly after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, unless another law is required to apply.
